About usThe London Jewish Male choir is the oldest Jewish Male choir in the world. The year 2001 was the 75th anniversary of the choir. The choir was founded in 1926 and under the Musical Direction of I. R. Berman, were performing several types of Jewish music including; Cantorial/Liturgical, Jewish Folk, Chassidic (Spiritual) and Yiddish. This diversity as continued over the years, we still perform some pieces from our original repertoire! In recent years under the musical direction of Clive Hyman we have expanded even further and are adding more modern compositions. LJMC committee 2001 Co-Chairman: Ben
