We are actively looking for new choristers to join the choir. Ideally we are looking for top tenors and basses, if you are interested in singing with us then e-mail info@ljmc.org.uk. Rehearsals are every Thursday night at 8pm in Hendon (London).

'80 years' - new CD release

Released in 2006, the CD features recordings from 1926 to the present day. Soloists include world famous Cantors: Naftali Herstik, David Kusevitsky, Stephen Robins, Pinchas Faigenblum, Steven Leas, Robert Brody.

The CD also features SHIR (klezmer band) who accompany the choir on several tracks.

80th Anniversary round up

The choir celebrated its 80th Anniversary with an "outstanding" concert at St. John's Smith Square in Westminster on Sunday 3rd December 2006. The concert included the premiere of Joseph Finlay's specially commissioned 'Eicha' or 'Lamentations'. Also featured was the author and broadcaster Norman Lebrecht who compered the evening brilliantly.
